The Villagra Building
2007 Heritage Preservation Award by the State of New Mexico

The Villagra Building received the 2007 Heritage Preservation Award from the State of New Mexico for Architectural Heritage. The award certificate reads “For achieving a successful historic rehabilitation while meeting energy-efficient goals at the historic New Mexico Public Welfare Building” (the Villagra’s historic building name).

It was awarded through the NM State Cultural Properties Review Committee and the Department of Cultural Affairs. The award ceremony took place on May 1, 2007 in Santa Fe.
